Controller

Data controller: Jose Luis Caamaño Olivares, director of the STTIE project, University of Santiago de Chile. Contact: contacto@sttie.cl.

What data is processed

This website uses no cookies, stores nothing in your browser, uses no analytics, loads no third-party resources and has no forms. The 3D model on the home page runs entirely in your browser and sends no information to any server.

Even so, as with any website, the hosting provider automatically records technical data about each visit in its access logs: IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type.

If you write to us by email, we use your address and the content of your message only to reply to you.

Purpose and legal basis

Access logs are used only to deliver the website, keep it secure and diagnose faults. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation). Email correspondence is processed to handle your request.

Hosting and transfers

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (United States), which acts as processor for the access logs under its data processing addendum. See its policy at netlify.com/privacy.

Retention

Access logs are kept for the limited period set by the hosting provider for security and operational purposes, and then deleted. Emails are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

Your rights

You may request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, or object to its processing, by writing to contacto@sttie.cl. If you are in the European Union, you may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country.
