Accessibility statement
Last updated: 1 November 2026
STTIE is a project devoted to accessibility, and we want this website to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, navigate by keyboard only, or enlarge text.
Standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA.
Measures taken
- Semantic HTML with a heading hierarchy that does not skip levels.
- A skip link to the main content and full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and background contrast checked with an automated tool.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without loss of content.
- Language declared on every page and on links to content in another language. Flags in the language selector are always accompanied by the language name.
- The Atkinson Hyperlegible typeface, designed for readers with low vision.
- The 3D model on the home page only moves when the visitor interacts with it, respects the system’s reduced-motion setting, and can be operated with keyboard-accessible buttons. What it shows in Braille is also announced as text.
Known limitations
- The 3D model requires WebGL. Where the browser does not support it, a static illustration is shown instead.
- Links in the news section lead to third-party websites whose accessibility we do not control, and most are in Spanish.
